In 2023, we welcomed a new school of missions in French West Africa called the French West Africa School of Missions (FWASM*). This became our first French Speaking school on the continent of Africa.

FWASM is hosted by the Abidjan Church in Ivory Coast with hopes of expanding to the 7 other countries in its region; Senegal, Guinea, Mali, Burkina Faso, Togo, Benin and Niger. This region hosts 17 churches with a region population of 144 million. The dream shared amongst the French-Speaking West African teachers and trainers is to provide trained and visionary leadership for the 17 churches that are currently operating with little to no full time staff. This vision starts with investing in the passionate local disciples so as to resupply the campus and youth ministries with dozens of leaders.

CASM is currently training 16 students in Abidjan, Ivory Coast and 4 online students from Cotonou, Benin and Lomé, Togo. Please pray for this fledgling new program that is brimming with possibilities.

*FWASM’s local name : École des Missions Meviyé - Okolo -Thée Huguette- Afrique de l’Ouest Francophone (EMMOTH)
